Michael Doyle is a California artist who resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and two children.
Unlike most artists, Doyle began his interest in art by studying art history as an academic at Berkeley.
Inspired by Impressionist painters of the twentieth century, Doyle's time in the studio has been almost entirely self-taught. Some of Michael's inspiration comes from Joan Miro, Piet Mondrian and Pablo Picasso. His work is especially noted for his usage of shapes.
Like the artists who inspired his work, Doyle uses shapes to show movement and depth. And his paintings are recognized for depicting specific moods.
Already a noted artist on the West Coast, his work is a recent favorite of KING OF QUEENS star, Leah Remini.
